Short Term Visa (maximum stay 90 days)
If you wish to visit Belgium or Luxembourg for a short period of time, you must obtain a visa prior to entry if you come from a country* with a visa requirement for entering Belgium.

Please note: visa application is required to be submitted not earlier than 3 months in advance before the intended travel date.

A visa is only intended to allow a foreign national (Ukrainian residents/other country nationals legally residing in Ukraine) to visit Belgium and/or the other Schengen countries** for a limited period of time.

Effective 18 October 2013 a new method of calculation of short stays in the Schengen area came into operation.In order to calculate the allowed period of stay according to issued visa and previous trips please check the website of EU http://ec.europa.eu/dgs/home-affairs/what-we-do/policies/borders-and-visas/border-crossing/index_en.htm and click on short-stay calculator.

If you would like to get you visa cancelled you can submit your passport in the Visa application centre or Embassy of Belgium directly

PROCESS


Step 1
Prepare your application and supporting documents:
Go to ‘ALL ABOUT YOUR VISAS’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.

Step 2
Submit your application:
Visit Visa Application Centre to submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents. Prior appointment is not required for documents submission at the Visa Application Center.

Step 3
Pay applicable Fee:
Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.

Step 4
Submit your biometric data:
As a part of visa application process, every applicant has to submit biometrics.
